The Daily Crocheter is now accepting submissions of crochet and knitting patterns and
crochet and knitting related articles for publishing on the site.
We are continuously updating the content on The Daily Crocheter and accept submissions
at any time. There are no deadlines that must be met.
Crochet and Knitting Pattern Submissions
To submit a custom crochet and knitting
pattern to us, the guidelines below must be followed:
- Submissions are only accepted via email to editor@DailyKnitter.com
- The pattern must be your own original work.
- The pattern may not appear or have previously appeared in any
other websites, not including the designer's personal website or blog. This includes magazines, commercial websites, personal websites, blogs, etc.
- The pattern must be written clearly with standard abbreviations, measurements, gauges,
yarn weights, and needle sizes. The more detailed the better.
- A photo of the completed item must be included with submission.
- Please include a paragraph about yourself that you wish to be posted on the site along with your pattern. Your email address and/or website link may be included.
Crochet and Knitting Article Submissions
To submit an article to us, the guidelines below must be followed:
- Submissions are only accepted via email to editor@DailyKnitter.com
- We accept any type of article, from crochet instructions to humorous stories, as long as the article
is crochet and knitting related.
- The article may not appear or have previously appeared in any
other format. This includes magazines, commercial websites, personal websites, blogs, etc.
Once the article is posted on The Daily Crocheter, you can offer a one sentence summary
of the article on your website or blog with a link to the full article on The Daily Crocheter.
- Please include a paragraph about yourself that you wish to be posted on the site along with your article. Your email address and/or website link may be included.
Why Submit a Pattern or Article?
With thousands of visitors each day, The Daily Crocheter offers excellent exposure
for your work, your yarn, or your website. Your pattern or article will remain on the
site indefinitely and continue to
draw traffic to your site. We regret that we are unable to offer any type of payment
for submissions.
Once we receive your submission, you will receive an email indicating that your work is
being reviewed. You will then receive an email with a date of expecting posting to the site
or suggestions for resubmission.
